Hi! I’m Karin Spirn, a writer, English teacher and martial artist living in Oakland, California. I created all the writing and artwork for this site.

“It Doesn’t Hurt, Fix It” is a collection of stand-alone stories about Leda Levine. Each story in this collection can be read on its own, with no correct order, so just dive in. New stories will be posted every 1-2 weeks.

This site would not exist without instruction, help and feedback from Adam Caldwell, Michelle Gonzales, Ariel Gore, Tomas Moniz, the Wayward Writers, Hiroshi Sato, Talia Lepson, Stella Blake and Judy Spirn.

If you like these stories, PLEASE SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO GO READ THEM!

Exciting news: My novel The Divine Sharpness in the Heart of God is a finalist in the New Rivers Press Many Voices Competition!
